Colors of Hope

This fun walk/run is intended to be a day to bring the community together to bring awareness, show support, display local resources available, help fund additional local programs, and have a wonderful time celebrating the hope we all have and can provide each other.

Each Color Station will feature a color/theme of a different aspect of mental health and will also have sponsor recognition, as well as an obstacle or something interactive. After the walk, we will host an After Party with a DJ, food, speaker(s), resource tables/giveaways, raffle prizes, and more fun to come.

We are thrilled to partner with NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness of Southern Ohio. All proceeds for this event will be going to NAMI with the goal of supporting programs/support in local Pickaway schools.

This event will not be possible without the support of our amazing community partners. Please see the volunteer and sponsor opportunities below and thank you so much for your continued support.

Event Schedule:

9:00 am – Registration
10:00 am – Walk Start
11:00 am – After Party

Sponsor Opportunities:

  • Color Station: $1,000 (5-6 Stations Available – Can be split)
    • Cover cost of facility reservation, color, materials, and signage for stations.
    • Sponsor recognition at station, option to host activity/obstacle at station during walk, recognition on promotions.
  • Registration Packet: $500 – $250
    • Offset cost of registration packets for the attendees.
    • Sponsor recognition at event and promotions.
  • Helper: Any Amount!
    • Help cover miscellaneous costs of the event from decorations, promotional materials, and more.
    • Sponsor recognition at event and promotions.

Other Ways to Help:

  • Sunglasses for registration packets
  • Rubber Bracelets (mental health related preferred) for registration packets
  • Bottles of Water donation
  • Registration Cost Scholarships (reach out to discuss)
  • Volunteer time (stations, set up, tear down)
  • Table set up for resources
  • Raffle Prizes

Resource Tables:

8 am – 9 am during Registration
10:00-10:30 during After Party (We encourage both!)
Tables and chairs will likely not be provided

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Set Up (10+) 7-9am – Helping with event set up, tables, canopies, station set up, activities
  • Registration (5) 8:30-10:00am – Sign in confirming pre-registrants and register walk-ons, t-shirt sales
  • Color Station (10+) 9:30-11am – Refilling bottles and color on runners, guiding activity as needed
  • After-Party (5) 11am-1pm – Dispersing packets, t-shirt sales, activity assistants
  • Clean Up (10+) 11am-2pm – Tear down of stations, tables, trash pick-up
